President Sarkissian visits the House-Museum of Minas Avetisyan

Armenian President Armen Sargsyan visited today the house –museum and the workshop of a famous Armenian painter Minas Avetisyan. As the press department at the President’s Office reported, the president congratulated the painter’s wife, children and grandson on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the great painter.

The President got familiarized with some works from the early career of the painter, talked to the family members and listened to their stories about Minas.

Later, President Sarkissian visited the painter’s workshop where  Nrek Avetisyan, the some of the painter currently works.

The president discussed the development trends of the modern Armenian art, the release said.
