Robert Kocharyan files suit against Silva Hambardzumyan

Armenia’s second President Robert Kocharyan filed a lawsuit against the citizen Silva Hambardzumyan at the Yerevan City General Jurisdiction First Instance Court.

Robert Kocharyan's defense team informs that the lawsuit was filed by Robert Kocharyan's representative Aram Orbelyan demanding a compensation of two million AMD for denying the factual slander.

"We have filed a suit against Silva Hambardzumyan's complaint because Silva Hambardzumyan made the following statement during the press conference at Hayatsk press club on 02.11.2018: "In 2008, I reached a major deal with Arabs and in order not to be hindered, I paid for it both the President of the Republic, and Robert Kocharyan and ..."

The lawsuit has been filed today, according to the defense team.
