Mkhitaryan thanks fans for support at Armenia’s match against Gibraltar

Armenian national football team and Arsenal midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has thanked the fans for their support during Armenia's Nations League match against Gibraltar on Friday.

“Big win for #armenia last night. We’re now heading to the final game vs Liechtenstein! Huge thanks to our 12th man - our supporters," Mkhitaryan said on Facebook.

Forward Yura Movsisyan scored four goals as Armenia beat Gibraltar 6-2 in Group D4. Artur Kartashyan and Aleksander Karapetyan also scored for the Armenian team during the match. 

Armenia is now set to face Liechtenstein on November 19 in the final round of matches in the group stage.

The Armenian Football Federation has posted a video showing how the fans welcome the Armenian footballers after yesterday’s match.
