Armenia’s food safety service tightens control on imported eggs

Armenia’s State Service for Food Safety has tightened the control on imported eggs from the Eurasian Economic Union countries, as well as other non-member countries to ensure their safety and fitness for human consumption.

The service says the move is also based on avian influenza cases registered in a number of regions in Russia, with restrictions imposed on egg imports to Armenia.
