Armenian economics university rector dismissed

Rector of the Armenian State University of Economics Koryun Atoyan has been removed from post, the Ministry of Education and Science confirmed to Panorama.am.

“He has been dismissed upon his own resignation,” the head of the ministry’s information and public relations department, Artur Baghdasaryan said.

Atoyan held the rector’s position since 2011. The reason behind his dismissal was not immediately clear.
