Armenia’s soap production on the rise

Armenia saw a strong growth in soap production in the first eleven months of 2018, the latest statistics show. 

The country produced 593.2 tons of soap from January to November last year, up by 82.1% from the same period of 2017 when the output stood at 325.8 tons, Panorama.am learned from the Statistical Committee of Armenia.

Meantime, production of washing, cleaning and starching agents dropped by 4% to 3,494 tons last year from the previous year’s 3,639.2 tons.
