Snow hits some roads in Armenia

Armenia’s Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies reports snowfalls on the roads of Ashotsk, Akhuryan and Artik regions, as well as Talin-Mastara-Akhuryan roadway as of 9:30am Friday. 

Vardenyants Pass is difficult to pass for passenger vehicles and is shut down for cargo and trailer trucks due to snowstorm.

Road maintenance works are underway, the ministry said.

All the other interstate and republican highways in the country are open for traffic.
