Armenia extends condolences over Ethiopian plane crash

The Armenian Foreign Ministry offered Sunday condolences over the fatal Ethiopian Airlines plane crash which occurred earlier in the day.

“We are deeply saddened with news about the crash of Ethiopian airlines aircraft heading to Nairobi. We extend our heartfelt condolences to friendly people of Ethiopia and wish courage and patience to relatives of all those who lost their lives in this terrible accident,” the ministry said on Twitter.

The Nairobi-bound Ethiopian Airlines flight, Boeing 737, crashed near Addis Ababa shortly after takeoff on Sunday, killing all 149 passengers and 8 crew members aboard.
