Samvel Gevorgyan - European vice-champion

Arsen Martirosyan became the gold medalist of 102kg weight class at the European Weightlifting Championship in Batumi, Georgia. The Armenian team was represented by Arsen Martirosyan and Samvel Gasparyan in this weight category.

As the National Olympic Committee reported, Gevorgyan won small silver in the clean and jerk and became a European vice-champion with a total of 377kg.
