Vardenyats Pass closed for traffic amid severe snowstorm

Armenia's Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies reports snowfalls on the roads of Sevan, Goris, Sisian, Meghri and Jermuk regions, as well as the Dilijan serpentine and Saravan Pass as of 9:30am Monday, 22 April.

Vardenyats Pass is shut down due to severe snowstorm.

Road maintenance works are underway.

All the other interstate and republican highways in the country are open for traffic.
