‘Marry me and stay with me forever’: Mkhitaryan ties the knot

The captain of Armenia’s national football team and Arsenal midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan on Monday married Betty Vardanyan, the daughter of famous Armenian businessman Michael Vardanyan.

The wedding ceremony took place at the Mekhitarist Monastery on San Lazzaro Island in Venice, Italy.

The 30-year-old footballer posted a photo with his wife on Facebook. Accompanied with a heart emoji, he wrote: “Marry me and stay with me forever.”
