Armenian parliament set to elect new Constitutional Court judge today

The Armenian National Assembly launched its regular four-day session on Tuesday morning. Lawmakers are set to debate on, among other things, the election of a new judge for the Constitutional Court.

Guided by Article 166.1 and 213 of the Armenian Constitution, President Armen Sarkissian has nominated Vahe Grigoryan to fill the post.

Grigoryan has been nominated as a candidate for the Constitutional Court judge for the second time already.
