Armenian parliament adopts VAT debit return bill

The Armenian National Assembly passed in the first reading on Friday a government-drafted bill on making amendments and addenda to the country’s Tax Code.

The bill was adopted by a vote of 92 for.

The draft law proposes to return more than 56 billion drams in VAT debit balances to businesses entities.

The bill will have its second reading on Monday.
