Kocharyan not allowed to see his grandchildren in hospital, son claims
Armenia’s second President Robert Kocharyan has been taken back to the correction facility after undergoing a surgery at the Izmirlyan Medical Center on October 9.
Kocharyan was recovering from the operation for nearly one week.
“The surgery passed well. He is in good health now, everything is probably normal that he has been allowed to move,” Kocharyan's son Levon told reporters on Monday.
He said he saw his farther in the hospital on Saturday, adding he was in a good mood.
According to him, his brother Sedrak Kocharyan's children were not allowed to visit their grandfather in the hospital.
“They presented various excuses, didn’t allow [the visit], which is absurd,” he said.
