Armenian parliament adopts 2020 draft state budget

The Armenian National Assembly voted 77 to 37 to adopt the draft state budget for 2020 at a session on Friday.

Lawmakers on a business trip had expressed their intention to vote for the budget.

The draft budget envisages 4.9% economic growth and 0.3% higher tax revenues next year. In 2020, tax revenues are projected to reach 1 trillion 602 million drams, which is a 0.3 percentage point improvement.
