Artsakh soldier killed in tragic accident

A contract soldier of the Artsakh Defense Army was killed in a tragic accident on Tuesday.

The accident happened at a post of a northern military unit at around 1:15pm, the Artsakh Defense Ministry reported.

The serviceman was identified as Artur Nalbandyan, 39.

An investigation has been launched into the soldier’s death.

The ministry says it shares the heavy grief of the loss, extending its condolences to the family and fellow servicemen of the deceased.
