Health Ministry: 67-year-old coronavirus patient dies in Yerevan hospital

A coronavirus patient has died at St. Gregory the Illuminator Medical Center in Yerevan, bringing the national death toll to 14.

The victim, identified as a 67-year-old woman, had developed double pneumonia, Ministry of Health spokeswoman Alina Nikoghosyan said in a Facebook post.

“In addition, the woman had an underlying chronic health condition – diabetes,” she wrote.

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases rose by 26 to 1,039 in Armenia on Monday morning.
