Armenia’s Gegharkunik Province reports first coronavirus case

The first case of COVID-19 has been confirmed in Gegharkunik Province of Armenia, Gegharkunik Governor Gnel Sanosyan said in a Facebook post.

Efforts are now underway to identify all contacts with the coronavirus patient and take appropriate measures upon medical instructions, he said.

“Please show high social responsibility, follow the instructions of the commandant and observe the rules of hygiene. Stay healthy!” the governor wrote.
