971 health workers infected with coronavirus in Armenia

A total of 971 healthcare workers, including doctors and nurses, have tested positive for the coronavirus infection in Armenia so far.

One case of death from Covid-19 has been recorded among medical workers, Irakanum.am reported citing the Ministry of Health.

Armenia’s coronavirus tally grew by 544 in a 24-hour period to reach 18,033 on Wednesday, with 6,814 recoveries and 302 deaths.

The number of active cases is 10,818.

As many as 87,600 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
