Fruit, vegetable prices up in Armenia

Prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 0.2% in Armenia in June from the same period of the previous month and 3.5% from May of the ongoing year.

According to the latest data published by the Statistical Committee, prices of vegetables grew by 4.6% in June this year to compare with June 2019, and dropped by 22.0% from May 2020.

Fruit prices increased by 14.2% in June against the same month of last year, and by 4.1% against May of the ongoing year.
