Artsakh reports two fresh COVID-19 cases

Artsakh has reported two new coronavirus infections in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 250 as of Saturday, August 8.

The new cases have been identified in Aygestan community of Askeran region, the Artsakh Information Headquarters reports, citing the Ministry of Health.

12 more patients have beaten COVID-19 with the total number of recoveries now standing at 213.

The number of active cases is 36.

Some 64 citizens are currently isolated in Artsakh.

As many as 6,838 tests have been performed since the disease outbreak.
