Artur Vanetsyan: We are open for cooperation with our Artsakh colleagues

The Leader of Homeland Party Artur Vanetsyan, who is paying visit to Artsakh, met on Monday with the President of the Artsakh National Assembly Artur Tovmasyan. Board members of Homeland party were present at the meeting.

 

Welcoming the guests, NA President Artur Tovmasyan presented the main directions of the work of the Artsakh Republic National Assembly, pointing to the atmosphere of trust and cooperation among the political forces represented at the parliament as well as the importance of parliamentary diplomacy aimed at the international recognition of the republic.

 

Vanetsyan highlighted the role of political parties in the political systems of the two Armenian states and inter-party interaction both among ruling and opposition forces.

 

“We are open for cooperation with our Artsakh colleagues to the benefit of international recognition of Artsakh,” Vanetsyan stressed.

 

The parties next discussed issues related to strengthening of security and defense capacity, economic development and the pandemic response.
