Armenia reports 210 new coronavirus cases, five more deaths on August 19

Armenia has confirmed 210 new coronavirus infections in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 42,056 as of 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 19, the Ministry of Health reports.

 

244 more patients have beaten COVID-19 with the total number of recoveries now standing at 35,226. The coronavirus death toll has increased by 5 to 1082. Except the one, all others diagnosed positive for coronavirus but the causes of the deaths were another disease. The latest victim was a 70-year-old female and had underlying chronic health conditions.

 

As many as 188,567 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
