Coronavirus update: 33 new cases, three more deaths recorded in Armenia on August 24

Armenia has confirmed 33 new coronavirus infections in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 42,825 as of 11 a.m. Monday, August 24, the Ministry of Health reports.

58 more patients have beaten COVID-19 with the total number of recoveries now standing at 36,049. The coronavirus death toll has increased by three to 1110, 256 of whom  diagnosed positive for coronavirus but the cause of the death was another disease. The latest victims were 72 (female) and 71 (female) year-old and had underlying chronic health conditions.The number of active cases is 5,666.

As many as 195,574 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
