20 new coronavirus cases confirmed in Shirak province

As of August 29, at 11.00, 58 patients are treated at Gyumri Infectious hospital diagnosed with coronavirus. As Shirak Governor’s office reported, over the past day 20 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed.

 

According to the source, 537 patients have recovered and discharged from hospitals to date, 40 have died, while 62 patients are treated at Yerevan hospitals. 568 citizens have been advised to self-isolate, 131 of whom have coronavirus symptoms and remain under the medical surveillance.

 

Since March, 9,631 coronavirus tests have been performed at Shirak hospitals and the regional branch of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the source said.
