Armenia reports 672 new coronavirus cases on October 7

Armenia has confirmed 672 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 53,755 as of 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 7, the Ministry of Health reports.

178 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 45,110.

The coronavirus death toll has increased by 5 to 995. The latest victims were 59 (female), 72 (male), 92 (female), 84 (female) and 55 (male) years old. All had underlying chronic health conditions.

The number of active cases is 7,348. As many as 312,823 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
