Armenia reports 649 new coronavirus cases, 6 deaths on October 10

Armenia has confirmed 649 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 55,736 as of 11 a.m. Saturday, October 10, the Ministry of Health reports.

243 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 45,771.

The coronavirus death toll has increased by 6 to 1,016. The latest victims were 55 (female), 66 (female), 67 (female), 69 (female), 88 (female) and 70 (female) years old. All had underlying chronic health conditions.

The number of active cases is 8,646. As many as 322,528 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
