Libyan army spokesman: Turkey transfers terrorists, mercenaries from Libya to Azerbaijan

The spokesman of the Libyan National Army (LNA), Major-General Ahmed Al-Mismari has stated that Turkey is transferring terrorists and mercenaries from Libya to Azerbaijan to fight against Armenians in Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh)..

“Turkey is now transferring Libyan, Syrian and of other nationalities terrorists and takfiris from Libya to Azerbaijan to support the latter in its battles against Armenia,” Al-Mismari said in a televised speech a few days ago, according to Hawar News Agency.

The spokesman warned of a "very serious security threat" in the west of the country, as "takfiri groups control the airports and exploit them to transport terrorist elements in and out of the country."
