Armenian freedom fighter Alexander Harutyunyan posthumously awarded Hero of Artsakh title

The high title of the Hero of Artsakh was posthumously bestowed upon Armenian freedom fighter Alexander Harutyunyan for his bravery shown while defending the Artsakh borders, Artsakh presidential spokesperson Vahram Poghosyan said on Saturday.

“According to the decision of Artsakh Republic PresidentArayik Harutyunyan, freedom fighter Alexander Harutyunyan was posthumously awarded the Hero of Artsakh high title for the exceptional services rendered to Artsakh in the defense and security of the homeland and his bravery,” Poghosyan wrote on Facebook.

“Eternal glory to our hero martyrs!” he added.
