COVID-19: Armenia reports 584 new cases, 30 deaths on December 8

Armenia has confirmed 584 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 142,928 as of 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 8, the Ministry of Health reports.

1,498 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 119,147.

The coronavirus death toll has increased by 28 to 2,372. 2 patients carrying the virus died from other causes in the past 24 hours.

The number of active cases is 20,812. As many as 532,527 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
