Armenia reports 223 fresh coronavirus cases, 2 deaths on Feb. 18

Armenia has confirmed 223 new cases of coronavirus in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 169,820 as of 11 a.m. Thursday, February 18, the Ministry of Health reports.

101 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 161,577.

The COVID-19 death toll has increased by one to 3,156. Another patient carrying the virus died from other cause in the past 24 hours. The total number of such cases is 794.

The number of active cases is 4,293.  As many as 694,357 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
