Armenia’s coronavirus cases reach 173,749 on March 5

Armenia has confirmed 442 new cases of coronavirus in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 173,749 as of 11 a.m. Friday, March 5, the Ministry of Health reports.

378 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 164,463.

The COVID-19 death toll has increased by 7 to 3,215. Two patients carrying the virus died from other causes in the past 24 hours. The total number of such cases is 822.

The number of active cases is 5,249. As many as 744,863 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
