Armenia reports 1,071 new coronavirus cases, 16 deaths on March 20

Armenia has confirmed 891 new cases of coronavirus in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 183,127 as of 11 a.m. Saturday, March 20, the Ministry of Health reports.

459 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 167,977. The COVID-19 death toll has increased by 16 to 3,332. The figure does not include the deaths of 855 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.

The number of active cases is 10,963. As many as 799,637  tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
