Armenia reports 1,033 new COVID-19 cases on April 21

Armenia has confirmed 1,033 new cases of coronavirus in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 210,518 as of 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 21, the Ministry of Health reports.

583 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 190,271.

The COVID-19 death toll has increased by 25 to 3,944. The figure does not include the deaths of 987 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.

The number of active cases is 15,316. As many as 946,642 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
