Armenia reports 656 fresh COVID-19 cases on April 29

Armenia has confirmed 656 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 215,528 as of 11 a.m. Thursday, April 29, the Ministry of Health reports.

882 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 197,171.

The COVID-19 death toll has increased by 16 to 4,087. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,013 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.

The number of active cases is 13,257. As many as 979,060 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
