Artsakh reports first coronavirus death in six months

Artsakh on Thursday reported its first death from coronavirus in six months. The victim was a 60-year-old woman, the Ministry of Health said.

The country confirmed 3 new COVID-19 infections in 24 hours, bringing its national tally to 2,664.

In total, 70 coronavirus tests were performed in the country on Wednesday, April 28.

Currently, 28 coronavirus patients are hospitalized, while the other patients receive home treatment.

An estimated number of 6,405 people have been tested for coronavirus in Artsakh in 2021, with 780 of them getting positive results.

The Artsakh health authorities urge the people to follow the coronavirus safety rules.
