Armenia’s daily coronavirus cases rise by 67 on May 17

Armenia has confirmed 67 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 220,927 as of 11 a.m. Monday, May 17, the Ministry of Health reports.

445 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 208,899.

The COVID-19 death toll has increased by 10 to 4,333. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,060 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.

Armenia now has 6,635 active cases. As many as 1,039,050 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
