Artsakh teams resume search operations for war casualties

Search and rescue teams of Artsakh’s State Service of Emergency Situations have resumed their operations in the Azerbaijani-held areas to find casualties of the 2020 war and those missing in action. 

The search operations are being conducted in Varanda (Fizuli) today.The search operation have been stopped since May 4. 

Since the start of the ceasefire, a total of 1,553 bodies of fallen troops and civilians have been retrieved from the former combat zones during the operations.
