Armenia’s daily coronavirus cases rise by 130 on May 26

Armenia has confirmed 130 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 222,269 as of 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 26, the Ministry of Health reports.

323 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 211,957.

The COVID-19 death toll has increased by 11 to 4,411. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,079 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.

Armenia now has 4,822 active cases. As many as 1,069,112 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
