Armenia reports 104 fresh COVID-19 cases on May 28

Armenia has confirmed 104 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 222,513 as of 11 a.m. Friday, May 28, the Ministry of Health reports.

301 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 212,566.

The COVID-19 death toll has increased by 7 to 4,423. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,081 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.

Armenia now has 4,443 active cases. As many as 1,075,450 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
