Armenia’s daily coronavirus cases rise by 34 on May 31

Armenia has confirmed 34 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 222,670 as of 11 a.m. Monday, May 31, the Ministry of Health reports.

227 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 213,208.

The COVID-19 death toll has increased by 6 to 4,438. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,082 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.

Armenia now has 3,942 active cases. As many as 1,083,960 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
