Deputy head of Para.TV taken to police station by force

The police officers have detained and forcefully taken the deputy head of Para.TV online channel Anzhela Nalbandyan to police station, Yerkir.am reported. After three hours spent in police custody, Nalbandyan  was released from Mashtots police department. Earlier today, another member of the opposition "Armenia" bloc Gegham Nazaryan was detained. 

The recent detentions came amid the fresh protests by the members of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF-Dashnaktsutyun)staged on Saturday against the visit of the President of the European Council Charles Michel.  The police not only obstructed the peaceful protest of the citizens but also used force to disperse the crowd and participants to place stations, Yerkir.am reported.
