Newborn baby found abandoned in Yerevan ready to be discharged from hospital

The newborn baby found abandoned near a house in a Yerevan residential building has recovered and is ready to be discharged from hospital, the Muratsan Hospital Complex said. 

The baby girl was taken to the Muratsan Hospital Complex after being discovered abandoned in a box at the threshold of one of the apartments of a building on Artsakh Street in Yerevan on 14 July.

The newborn had infections and respiratory problems due to the lack of hospital care.
