Armenia reports 221 fresh COVID-19 cases on July 23

Armenia has confirmed 221 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 228,382 as of 11 a.m. Friday, July 23, the Ministry of Health reports.

120 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 218,796.

The COVID-19 death toll has increased by 4 to 4,579. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,113 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.

Armenia now has 3,894 active cases. As many as 1,293,032 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
