OSCE chief: Reports of repeated incidents along Armenia-Azerbaijan border causes grave concern
The OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Swedish Foreign Minister Ann Linde expressed grave concern over reports of repeated incidents along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border.
“Reports of repeated incidents along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border causes grave concern. Urge sides to build on recent humanitarian steps and implement the November 9 statement in full to address unresolved issues peacefully,” she tweeted on Thursday.
Three Armenian soldiers were killed and four others were wounded in border clashes provoked by the Azerbaijani forces on Wednesday. Another Armenian serviceman was injured in Azerbaijani fire on Thursday.
Starting from 11pm Thursday, the air defense units of the Armenian military thwarted attempts by Azerbaijani UAVs to enter the airspace of Armenia on the Gegharkunik section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, the Defense Ministry said.
