Armenia reports 621 new coronavirus infections on September 4

Armenia has confirmed 621 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 244,602 as of 11 a.m. Saturday, September 4, the Ministry of Health reports.

522 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 228,736.

The Covid-19 death toll has increased by 12 to 4,904. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,162 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.

Armenia now has 9,800 active cases. As many as 1,567,094 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
