Armenia reports 296 new Covid-19 cases on September 13

Armenia has confirmed 296 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 249,146 as of 11 a.m. Monday, September 13, the Ministry of Health reports.

577 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 233,105.

The Covid-19 death toll has increased by 16 to 5,018. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,175 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.

Armenia now has 9,848 active cases. As many as 1,616,849 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
