Hovsep Bedevyan elected Court of Cassation judge

The National Assembly of Armenia on Tuesday elected Hovsep Bedevyan a judge of the Court of Cassation.

88 out of 107 lawmakers took part in the voting. 80 MPs voted for Bedevyan’s candidacy.

Only one deputy voted for Hrach Ayvazyan, while 6 others voted for Lianna Hakobyan.

The Supreme Judicial Council had nominated Hovsep Bedevyan, Hrach Ayvazyan and Lianna Hakobyan for the vacant positions of judges of the Civil and Administrative Chamber of the Court of Cassation.
