Armenia records 759 fresh Covid-19 cases on Sept. 17

Armenia has confirmed 759 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 252,082 as of 11 a.m. Friday, September 17, the Ministry of Health reports.

614 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 235,030.

The Covid-19 death toll has increased by 26 to 5,101. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,185 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.

Armenia now has 10,766 active cases. As many as 1,639,000 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
