Armenia adds 934 new Covid-19 cases on Oct. 1

Armenia has confirmed 934 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 262,631 as of 11 a.m. Friday, October 1, the Ministry of Health reports.

Overall, 11,385 Covid-19 tests were conducted on September 30.

728 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 242,569.

The Covid-19 death toll has increased by 20 to 5,339. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,211 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.

Armenia now has 13,512 active cases. As many as 1,724,070 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
